How confident can I be that this is safe?

There are a number of published clinical trials showing The Juliet’s effectiveness and safety record. These are available to you upon request. The Juliet is an erbium laser which has an excellent safety profile and the treatment has been available since 2009. Since then over 5 million patients have been successfully treated worldwide with no major side effects.

Is the treatment uncomfortable?

The treatment is well tolerated and no need for anaesthesia. You may experience a gentle warming sensation.

How soon after childbirth can I have treatment?

Three months post childbirth, please contact one of our gynaecology consultants who can assess your suitability

What are the contraindications?

Majority of women are fine to receive the Juliet treatment. You would need an up to date cervical smear, provide a negative pregnancy test and confirm you are not trying to conceive. You cannot have this treatment during your menstrual cycle.

How long does the treatment take?

The treatment itself takes 10-15 minutes.
